Editorial Board member, Jabeen Fayyaz has been elected President-Elect of the International Pediatric Simulation Society (IPSS), a global community dedicated to transforming pediatric care through simulation-based education, research, and advocacy. In this leadership role, she has shared how she looks forward to advancing IPSS’s equity, inclusivity, and innovation mission - especially by amplifying voices from underrepresented regions and fostering global collaboration.
With over a decade of experience in pediatric emergency medicine and healthcare simulation, Jabeen is passionate about using simulation to improve safety, quality, and access to care for children worldwide. As president-elect, she is committed to supporting the IPSS and wider community of educators, researchers, and clinicians and helping shape the future of pediatric simulation with purpose and impact.
